What is Love Lock Bridge?
Da Nang Love Lock Bridge is a short riverside walkway on Tran Hung Dao Street, directly opposite Dragon Bridge on the east bank of the Han River. It opened in 2015 and is about 68 meters long.
Why visit at night?
This place works best after dark. Once the lights come on, the bridge becomes a glowing photo spot with heart-shaped lighting, river reflections, city lights and views toward Dragon Bridge.
Location and access
Official tourism information places the bridge on Tran Hung Dao Street, opposite Dragon Bridge. From Da Nang International Airport, it is roughly 5 km away and usually about 10–15 minutes by car.
Best time to go
- 5:30 PM–6:30 PM: sunset and warm-light photos
- After 7 PM: strongest heart-light atmosphere
- Weekend nights: easy to combine with the Dragon Bridge show
What can you do there?
Hang a love lock
Visitors can buy decorative locks from nearby souvenir sellers and attach them to the railing.
Take photos
The middle of the walkway facing Dragon Bridge gives the strongest Da Nang background.
Walk the riverfront
The bridge is small, but the surrounding riverside route is the real advantage.
Best photo angles
- Center of the bridge: heart lights + locks + river
- Facing Dragon Bridge: strongest location identity
- Near the Carp-Dragon Statue: combines two riverside landmarks
- From the opposite bank: wider skyline composition
Who is it good for?
Couples
The romantic identity is obvious and easy to enjoy.
Friends
It is not only for couples; the night views and photography work well for general travelers.
Solo travelers
It fits naturally into a relaxed Han River walking route.
Nearby places
- Carp-Dragon Statue: immediately beside the bridge
- Dragon Bridge: directly opposite
- APEC Park: nearby and easy to reach on foot
- Son Tra Night Market: convenient for food and shopping
- Han River cruise: useful for extending the evening
Getting there
On Grab, search Love Lock Bridge Da Nang or Cầu Tình Yêu Đà Nẵng.
Because several riverside attractions sit close together, walking between them is usually more practical than repeatedly taking short rides.
Entry and spending
Bridge access itself is free.
Typical spending comes from optional locks, drinks, parking, transport or nearby food rather than an admission ticket.
Practical notes
- Weekend evenings can be crowded.
- Avoid climbing railings or taking risky photos.
- Do not throw keys or rubbish into the river.
- During the rainy season, a light umbrella can be useful.

Final thoughts
Love Lock Bridge is not a huge attraction. Its appeal is that it is a compact, high-atmosphere night stop.
It works best as part of a wider Han River evening with the Carp-Dragon Statue, Dragon Bridge and Son Tra Night Market rather than as a standalone destination.
